Opportunities for Giving

CFOT exists and continues its charitable work due to contributions made by generous and caring people like you. We are able to provide scholarships and grants to hard working students because of contributions you make.

Ways to Contribute:

  • CFOT will acknowledge a special occasion or memorial by sending a card to the person you designate, telling them that you have made a contribution to CFOT in their honor or a person's memory. The card features a sketch made by an artist with a disability. Tell your family and friends about this special giving program-it's a meaningful way of saying that you care.
  • A named scholarship fund can be established by organizations that support the educational and public awareness efforts of CFOT, including vendors, facilities, occupational therapy departments, and schools; and by individual or family donations in the name of someone special. You and your friends and colleagues may contribute to this scholarship fund with an annual contribution of $1000.00 or more. The scholarship will be given in the name you designate and highlighted in our annual newsletter and annual luncheon and awards program.
  • Organizations can be a named a CFOT sponsor by contributing to the cost of the annual CFOT luncheon and Awards Ceremony or by sponsoring the publishing of the CFOT public informational brochure.
  • Donate an item (minimum value of $25 please) to the silent auction and bid on exceptional items offered at the CFOT Booth at the OTAC Conference.
  • Join the Bonita Kraft $500 Challenge at OTAC Conference. Small contributions quicly add up to match Bonita's $500 donation. Everyone can participate in the CFOT "Challenge (or Bid) Board at the annual OTAC Conference. Any amount is accepted. You can be listed in the VIP section of the Challenge Board with a donation of $20 or more.
  • The Legacy Circle offers an exceptional opportunity to highlight your gift!  When your contribution to the circle reaches $2,500, you will be a member of a prestigious group of California OTS who ensure that CFOT can continue support for scholarships and research grants in the future.    This is “future thinking” and makes your dollars work in perpetuity.
